It’s been a while since I have photographed gorgeous lucy. She is the funniest little girl…cheeky, confident, independent…everything you want a little girl to be!

When she saw this skirt she squealed with delight…and danced around the room, happy as a princess:

Aren’t these two adorable? It’s probably the two more difficult ages to photograph….a ‘just’ crawling baby and a 2 year old – but they managed really well…and had a absolute ball being tickled by mum.

Gorgeous family | Melbourne family photography

I have lived in Melbourne for most of my life…I grew up with our dry, hot summers, sudden cool changes and wet, cold winters (they’re not so wet anymore though..)…so I should have been prepared for the unpredictable weather on the weekend. After weeks and weeks of balmy summer evenings, this one caught me by surprise. It was cool and cloudy…but still a perfect afternoon for a photo shoot in one of Melbourne’s beautiful gardens.

Meet Tania, Sash and their three gorgeous children. We had such a lovely afternoon wandering and exploring the gardens…we had such a lovely time that before we knew it the kids were tired and grumpy…and it all came to an end!

Thanks guys for a really gorgeous afternoon. Your children were absolute super stars…here is a little preview for you:

Melbourne family photography

This is Val and her family. We met, by chance, one sunny melbourne morning at a local market. Val told me she was wanting some photos of her two beautiful Grand-daughters and her extended family.

What she didn’t tell me at the time was that one of her daughters had lost her home in the black saturday fires…lost her home, I can’t imagine that.

So we met up in her backyard yesterday..to take some casual shots of everyone, all together.

Sweet baby Mathilda was all smiles…6 month old babies are just so goregous (and stuck in one place..love that!). I was a bit worried that I didn’t get many shots of little Charlotte. Being a 2 year old…well, she just wanted to do her own thing…so when I got home I had a quick look through my shots, and was thrilled to find this one with one of her nanny’s much loved puppies:

CHRISTMAS!!

I know, I know…it’s too early! It’s only just October…it’s nearly 3 months away!

BUT right now is the time to book your session, if you want those beautiful photographs in time for Christmas!

Photographic sessions with guaranteed Christmas delivery must be booked in prior to NOVEMBER 5th.

PLEASE don’t be one of the disappointed families who contact me in December wanting photographs as Chrismas gifts, as it will be too late.

I have just enjoyed a 2 week break with my children and now have a few sessions available in October. Only one or two weekend sessions are left.

As a special Christmas offer, for every session booked in October, I will provide you with a digital (printable) Christmas card sized at 4×6 or 5×7 inches.

Little man

I met this gorgeous, funny little boy earlier this week.

He has an interesting new habit – of poking out his tongue! His dad and I were in hysterics…me with the camera at the ready…while Dad poked his tongue back in!

It was great to meet you Sunny, and your gorgeous boy (and his Grandma too!).

Beauty – full!

Wow – just look at these beautiful children!

These two were absolute angels when I met them on Saturday! Big brother was the star of the show…and so sweet with his little sister (and a great helper to me too!)

After some shots at home we headed down to the park to feed the ducks, and enjoy the glorious Spring sunshine. What a lovely morning!

Irene and Marc, it was lovely to meet you both…thankyou so much for an enjoyable morning with your gorgeous children.

Beautiful family – part 2 {Melbourne family photography}

I first met Rachel a couple of weeks ago to capture her beautiful 7 month old baby, and their very cute 3 year old girl.

On the weekend we had an extra session to photograph the entire family…big brother and mum and dad.

We worked pretty hard to get some fun shots…it’s not easy with 3 little people to keep happy!

I am so thrilled that we were able to capture some shots of everyone together.
