WOW! How can it be almost May already??

For those who haven’t heard, my family (and I) will be taking some time out this year. Time out from school, work, business…and exchanging it for 3 months of free and easy travel around australia. That’s right…we’re hooking up the camper trailer, and heading off in our car…to explore this great country of ours, and to enjoy some quality time as a family.

Sooooo…if you have been thinking about booking a photographic session this year…IT’S TIME!! Final bookings before we leave (to allow time for processing, viewing, ordering and delivery of your products) will be around MAY 26th 2010. I currently have just a handful of sessions left in the next few weeks. I am also taking bookings for late October onwards…with October almost booked out.

A lazy Sunday afternoon – melbourne photographer

Last Sunday we had a gorgeous afternoon with friends…sitting in a sunny beer garden, listen to Wilbur Wild and his band…eating good food, and enjoying good company. The kids enjoyed exploring the place..and we enjoyed the simple pleasure of a lazy Sunday afternoon.

One long weekend in gorgeous Portarlington, one wedding to photograph (my first…more of that to come), one photo per day project to keep up with…ONE THOUSAND images to sort through!

We live very close to some fabulous nature reserves…this one full of kangaroos.

I love following the boys as lead the way…watching them explore, wander off the path and discover.

Collecting sticks, climbing trees and spotting kangaroos…all brings a smile to my face, and theirs.

Cool change…it’s what I love about Melbourne. You can feel a shift in the air, a sudden breeze…and the temperature drops dramatically. I probably wouldn’t believe it, if I hadn’t experienced it so many times.

The boys begged to go out in the rain (nude of course)…

We have a tradition in our house…

well, to be totally honest it’s a good idea that I try to enforce but doesn’t always happen….the boys cook dinner for me!

They plan, shop and cook (with Grant). I’m just hoping now that they have mastered lasagna, they might move onto something else!

Harry’s and Ethan have been friends forever…they were due to be born on the same day…but as nature would have it, they’re about 2 weeks apart in age.
