Beautiful baby Teia came to visit the studio last week. At just 9 days old she was the most gorgeous baby! She did manage to have her very first lengthy awake time…but after a little walk in her pram she quickly settled back to sleep…and we managed to capture the most divine photographs of her. I first met this gorgeous family over 2 years ago…when Jasmin was a bright two year old and tiny Taj was born. Now gorgeous Jas is a big 4 year old, Taj is a crazy 2 year old, and they have an adorable baby brother…named Nash. Watching Kristy and David with their three children reminded me a lot of when my boys were so little…and what an exhausting and wonderful time it was. Enjoy your preview:

Jayden – professional newborn photos melbourne

Newborn baby Jayden was an absolute angel for his session last week. A big thankyou to my friend and fellow photographer Louise Treacy who came along to assist with some of the posing. Jayden’s mummy was really hoping we would try a ‘hanging’ pose. These more complicated poses require a couple of assistants (thanks also to Jayden’s daddy Carl) and a very sleepy baby. I would like to point out that in this first beautiful shot – he is not actually hanging by a branch…this has been added on later! Baby as Art – Melbourne workshop

Califonia based Baby as Art are well known in the world of baby photographers as the best in the business, and I have always admired their work. Last year they announced they would be traveling all the way to Australia to hold some workshops…these sold out in a matter of hours! Being one of the lucky few to gain a place, I was beyond excited when November finally arrived…and I got to meet and learn from the gorgeous Carrie Sandoval and Brittany Woodall. Not only were the girls super lovely but I learnt so many tips and tricks over the two long days. Britt and Carrie, thankyou so much for sharing your experience with us…it was a great opportunity which I thoroughly enjoyed!
